As Pico releases their new, long-awaited VR headset, you may wonder: What’s new with the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise?

One of the biggest differences is the introduction of the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 Processor. This processor is a huge upgrade over the original Enterprise’s regular XR2. Having previously been used to power the Meta Quest 3, this cutting-edge processor is more than equipped to provide incredible VR experiences. The XR2 Gen 2 boosts VR performance with a 62% increase of pixel rendering quantity. It also supports video decoding up to 8K when compared to the Pico 4.

The other key difference is the huge improvement in passthrough cameras with the Pico 4UE. The Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise features a dual 32MP VST camera, enhancing mixed-reality experiences by seamlessly merging real-world and digital elements. This technology provides stereoscopic vision, minimal distortion, and advanced depth-sensing capabilities, enriching interactions within any interactive environment.

The headset was also launched alongside the Pico Motion Tracker, a brand-new type of product for Pico.

The motion tracker is designed to track body movement inside VR applications. This means that more parts of the body can be used in immersive experiences such as the user’s arms and legs.

These advanced motion trackers provide precise 6DoF data for full-body tracking, capturing every movement with exceptional accuracy.

Pico Motion Trackers are compatible with the Pico Neo3, Pico 4E & Pico Ultra Enterprise.
