1) Set up a Google Account.
We need this in order to assign the Android devices to you. It can be a simple GMail account or a Google Workspace account if you use it.
Please use THIS LINK to access the Gmail web service where you just need to choose a username / email address and a password of your choice. Alternatively sign into your Google Admin account for Workspace and create a VR specific user for the Kit. You only need one user account. We have prepared some notes on the account setup HERE. This can also be done by your IT support person if preferred. Let us know these details and we will use this information to assign the devices to your account.
2) Set up an ExpeditionsPro Account. This is used to log you into your ExpeditionsPro account. This is only needed by the person guiding the tours, such as the teacher. The students or followers don’t need an account and can simply sign in as “Guest” in order to view the tours the teacher is guiding. Using THIS LINK please create a username and a password and send us these details to log you in on the Guide Device.
3) MEL Science VR. If you are signing up to the MEL Science VR software then please send us the email address you wish to use for that account. MEL Science VR will set this up and supply us with a licence on your behalf.
All of the above can use the same email address, just make sure it is one you can access as you may need to click on a confirmation link or code. Also, this email address will be used to administer the account in the future.If you have asked us to set up any additional software on your behalf, please let us know and we will ask for the appropriate information when we set it up.
